6 Minutes Together

PAH is a fatal rare disease that causes patients to feel short of breath. To optimize treatment, the patient's must regularly take the ‘6-minute walk test’ which reminds them of their desperate destiny. As a leader in treatments of the disease, Janssen Pharma sought a way to empower the patients’ 6 minutes, while raising social awareness of the disease. The answer is ‘6 Minutes Together’, a Spotify playlist of 6-minute long songs with inspiring lyrics for patients. The project gained 118M media impressions within 1 week after its launch. Moreover, 1500 potential patients were detected with early disease in 2021.

少し歩くだけで息が切れ、命に関わるPAH（肺動脈性肺高血圧症）という難病がある。そんなPAH患者さんをサポートするために、患者さんが定期的に受ける「６分間歩行検査」に着想を得て、”6 Minutes Together”というプロジェクトを立ち上げた。一青窈さんに6分ちょうどのPAH患者さんのための楽曲「6分」を書き下ろしていただき、Spotifyとのコラボレーションで世界中の6分ちょうどの患者さんの背中を押す楽曲を集めたプレイリストを公開した。患者さんのサポートと、PAHの社会認知の向上を同時に実現し、1500人の潜在患者さんの早期発見につなげた。（クライアント：ヤンセンファーマ）
