WASHABLE BOOK

The Washable Book is a low-tech innovation that transforms reading into a physical activity to inspire behavioral change. The book’s characters reach their colorful futures only by having their dirty hands physically washed on the pages. The repeated action helps the children make the connection between handwashing and reaching their future goals.

"Washable Book"は、手洗いの大切さを途上国の子どもたちに教える「読む絵本」ではなく「石けんで洗って学べる絵本」である。特殊な印刷技術をもちいており、ページ上のキャラクターの汚れた手を石けんを使って洗うと、そのキャラクターたちのカラフルな未来が浮かび上がる。手洗い習慣を根付かせることで病気を予防し、子どもたちの未来の夢を守る、全く新しい絵本。（クライアント：アンファー）
